Thailand’s International Trade Fair for the Plastics and Rubber Industries takes place from 18 – 21 September 2019, riding on the success of its previous edition with the strategic co-location of T-PLAS, PACK PRINT INTERNATIONAL, Wire Southeast Asia and Tube Southeast Asia 2019.

T-PLAS 2019 will once again develop its six core plastics-related areas of focus: automotive, bioplastics, electrical and electronics, lifestyle, medical and packaging, bringing together international professionals and representatives from the plastics and rubber ecosystem to share considerations for the relevant industries.

This edition will also see two inaugural special showcases: the Medical Plastics Zone and Chemical Plastics Zone.

The fourth edition of indometal – Indonesia’ must attend exhibition for the metal and steel industry saw visiting groups from a diverse mix of industries across Indonesia including leading companies such as Barata Indonesia, Cikarang Perkasa Manufacturing, Epiterma Mas Indonesia, Growth Asia, Honda Power Products Indonesia, Hyundai, Isuzu, Inalum and more.

Cities all over Southeast Asia project about 100 million migrations from countryside to cities through 2030, necessitating improved productivity, better incomes, education, healthcare and transport. Hence the need for 'smart cities'; where integrated technologies improve traffic flows, transportation, energy, water usage and services.

The set-up of the ASEAN Smart City Network (ASCN) to support urbanisation is a common platform to share best practices, link member cities with private investment and secure funding. Thailand has pledged 1.5 trillion baht (S$62 billion) over the next five years to boost growth and develop its three eastern provinces as the Eastern Economic Corridor, with infrastructure spending to remain a key driver for the economy and new development projects.
