indometal 2018 – continues to gain momentum as the gateway to global technologies for the metal & steel industries

The fourth edition of indometal – Indonesia’ must attend exhibition for the metal and steel industry saw visiting groups from a diverse mix of industries across Indonesia including leading companies such as Barata Indonesia, Cikarang Perkasa Manufacturing, Epiterma Mas Indonesia, Growth Asia, Honda Power Products Indonesia, Hyundai, Isuzu, Inalum and more.

From outside of Indonesia, indometal 2018 welcomed visitors from as far as France, Germany, Japan, the Czech Republic, as well as the China Foundry Association. Representing a wide-ranging exhibit profile, indometal 2018 welcomed 203 exhibiting companies from 22 countries, including national pavilions and country groups from China, Germany, Indonesia, Italy and Taiwan.

As a one-stop, business promoting platform for the metal, steel and related industries, the 3-day trade fair – driven by the expertise of GIFA, METEC, THERMPROCESS and NEWCAST by the Messe Düsseldorf Group, presented world-class exhibits in foundry technology, casting products, metallurgy and thermoprocess technology.

The countdown begins for the 4th edition of indometal, jointly organised by Messe Düsseldorf Asia and PT Wahana Kemalaniaga Makmur (WAKENI), as it makes its way next month to the Jakarta International Expo Kemayoran, Indonesia, from 17 – 19 October 2018. Record attendance at INDOPLAS, INDOPACK and INDOPRINT with strong international presence, more technology on display, and local visitors all on the rise

The Indonesian International Plastics, Packaging and Printing Exhibitions, INDOPLAS, INDOPACK and INDOPRINT, welcomed 24,918 trade visitors from 31 countries, a 10 per cent increase over the last edition in 2016.

The four-day exhibition that bridges the synergistic industries of plastic, packaging and printing at one central location spanned over 15,000 sqm with 360 exhibitors – 65 per cent of which came from overseas including five national pavilions and country groups from Austria, China, Germany, Singapore and Taiwan.

As one of the region’s leading procurement platforms, INDOPLAS, INDOPACK and INDOPRINT 2018 was also staged against the backdrop of strong economic growth rate and the Indonesian government’s roadmap - Making Indonesia 4.0 that is aimed at building a digital economy and focused on the five key sectors of food and beverage, automotive, textile, electronics and chemicals.
